Carlos Humberto Perette, Vice President of Argentina, declared today that “the magnificent work of the people of Israel through out the long struggle for independence and consolidation can always count on the sympathy and solidarity of our people. During my mandate I will try to strengthen the human bonds uniting us and we shall defend cultural values without discrimination of any kind.”
The Vice President made his statement in a message to an exhibition entitled “Fifteen Years of the State of Israel,” which was organized by the Argentine Zionist Organization. Israel Ambassador Joseph Avidar attended the opening, at which Emilio Gutkin, chairman of the Zionist Organization, was the speaker.
