The possibility of a merger of the two competing World Confederations of General Zionists was the main topic of discussions here today at the national convention of the Argentine General Zionists affiliated with the Confederation headed by Dr. Emanuel Neumann.
More than 150 delegates from throughout Argentina attending the conference, heard reports on recent events affecting South American and world Jewry by Herzl Gesang, who was re-elected president of the organization and by Weir Muchnik, general secretary. Mordecai Koifman, executive director, addressed the meeting on cultural and educational problems of Argentine Jewry.
