Ariel Sharon talked to the Shas Party about joining the government. The Israeli prime minister spoke with Shas leader Eli Yishai on Monday, and the two agreed to meet Thursday for talks focusing on whether Shas, an Orthodox and Sephardi party, would consider sitting in a government with Shinui, a staunchly secularist coalition partner that shuns the Orthodox.
