Measures aimed at improving relations along the Israel-Jordan borders and at curbing infiltration across frontiers were adopted here today at a meeting of the Israel-Jordan Mixed Armistice Commission.
It was decided that local military commanders and police representatives of both countries would meet on the armistice line daily to discuss every incident right on the spot. Orders will also be issued to troops to avoid red tape and delay in returning any stolen property recovered by the police units of either nation. During the period when this arrangement is tested a mobile MAC delegation will participate in meetings of local commanders.
