Preparations for religious services for the Jewish High Holidays, in accordance with the extensive program for religious guidance for the men of the Army Air Forces, were started here today when the military authorities permitted Dr. S.E. Starrels of Temple Albert to instruct four of the Jewish men stationed here to assist him at the Rosh Hashana ceremonies.
The services will be conducted in the chapel at the Albuquerque air base. The four Jewish men selected to assist in the services are Private Harold J. Algus of Brooklyn, N.Y., Private William Cohen of New York City, Bombardier Cadet Stanley Lieberman of Cleveland, Ohio, and Line Crew Chief Martin Kerngood of Baltimore, Md.
