A Great Britain under arms in Palestine constitutes a negation of the Anglo-Italian “gentleman’s agreement” of Jan. 2, 1937, providing for maintenance of the Mediterranean “status quo,” Virginio Gayda asserted tonight in the Giornale d’Italia.
