A two-day session of the executive committee which is organizing the American Jewish Conference will open in New York on July 14, it was announced here today. Final arrangements for the Conference as well as the allocation of seats to national membership organizations will be made at this meeting.
A number of requests for admission to the Conference on a national basis are now being considered by the admission committee and will be submitted for approval to the executive committee at the same meeting. The Conference is definitely scheduled to take place on August 29 in New York, the announcement said.
