Arrangements have been concluded by the Canadian Government and the exiled Polish Government to provide asylum to a number of refugees from Poland, it was announced here today by the United Jewish Refugee and War Relief Agencies. The number will include 70 Polish Jewish refugees stranded in Japan and 150 in Portugal. Their maintenance and support for the duration of the war have been guaranteed by the UJR and WRA which includes the Canadian Jewish Congress, the Joint Distribution Committee in Canada and other Jewish relief organizations.
