Arrest Two Leading Jews of Frankfort

Dr. Marx, Frankfort representative of the Central Verein, the Central Union of German Jews, was arrested, accused of “active and passive bribery.” Ex-Police President Steinberg, a prominent Jew of Frankfort, was also taken into custody, but no official charges have as yet been placed against him or Dr. Marx. The German press states that their cases are still being investigated.
