A collection of outstanding paintings and sculptures will be sent to Israel for the forthcoming tenth anniversary of the establishment of the Jewish State, it was announced here today. Addressing a meeting under the auspices of the Friends of Art Museums of Israel, its chairman, Dr. Barnett Stross, appealed to his listeners to collect as many water colors, oils, etchings and bronzes of good quality as possible to guarantee that every Israeli gallery and museum receives a representative collection.
