Arthur Hays Sulzberger, publisher of the New York Times, and Mrs. Sulzberger yesterday received honorary degrees at the summer commencement exercises of the University of Chattanooga. The degree of Doctor of Literature was conferred upon Mr. Sulzberger for his journalistic activities, while Mrs. Sulzberger received the degree of Doctor of Laws for her many public-minded services.
