“Aryan” firms may not dismiss their Jewish employes without notice, it has been ruled by a District Labor Court in Halle, which declared that employing Jews does not make a concern any less “Aryan.”
The court ordered that a dismissed Jewish employe be reinstated or receive 250 marks as compensation. The “Aryan” employer argued that he wished his firm to be “pure Aryan” and therefore did not wish any Jews on his staff.
A firm is “Aryan” when its owner is a full-blooded German, the court said.
