If it should be at all necessary to furnish proof that there is no decline in German anti-Semitic propaganda, today’s Berlin and provincial press would remove all doubts.
The Frankische Tageszeitung calls upon all its readers to spy upon their Jewish neighbors. “Aryan” shopkeepers are urged to listen in on every remark against the Nazis by their Jewish customers and to report them immediately to Nazi authorities. At the same time German peasants are warned to abstain from having any dealings whatsoever with Jews.
FRICK’S ORDER FEATURED
The Voelkischer Beobachter, Chancellor Hitler’s own paper, makes it clear that “Aryanism” has come to stay in Germany by featuring on its front page the order issued yesterday by Minister of the Interior Dr. Wilhelm Frick that all government employes must furnish new proof of their “Aryanism” and emphasizing the importance of the order in the headlines.
As if by special order the entire Berlin press today featured a dispatch from Austria telling of the suppression in that country of Theodor Fritsch’s notorious “Hand book of the Jewish Question,” which in Germany is the bible of all the anti-Semites. Berlin papers
