Aryeh L. Pincus, treasurer of the Jewish Agency for Israel, principal beneficiary of the United Jewish Appeal funds, arrived here from Jerusalem to launch a coast-to-coast speaking tour in behalf of the UJA’s 1962 campaign to raise $95,000,000. He is scheduled to address more than a dozen community-wide fund-raising meetings in all parts of the country during his four-week stay.
Dublin’s Jewish Lord Mayor, Robert Briscoe, arrived here to begin an extensive American tour on behalf of Irish trade with the United States and the 1962 United Jewish Appeal campaign. His first major public appearance will be as a speaker at the Inaugural Dinner in the Waldorf-Astoria on March 15, that will formally launch this year’s drive by the United Jewish Appeal.
