As a memorial to the late Cantor Josef Rosenblatt who died in Palestine a year ago, cantors in Baltimore synagogues will join in presenting a concert on May 3 in the Beth Tfiloh Synagogue. His son, the Rev. Samuel Rosenblatt, is rabbi of the Beth Tfiloh Congregation.
Many of Cantor Rosenblatt’s own compositions will be sung and Miss Frieda Etelson, violinist, accompanied by Miss Irene Miller, will play his works. Phonograph records made by the cantor also will be played.
