Nazi persecution of Jews in Germany has been protested here by between 300 and 400 persons who signed petitions circulated for the past two weeks by the Asheville B’nai B’rith lodge. Signatures of persons of all races and creeds have been affixed to the petitions.
The petitions, along with those circulated in other cities of the nation, will be presented to President Roosevelt.
