A program to encourage increased religious activities among Jewish college students was adopted at a meeting of the national executive council of the Young People’s League of the United Synagogue of America.
The plan calls for utilization of young people’s groups throughout the country as a means of approaching Jewish college students. In addition overtures will be made to reform and orthodox groups asking them to engage in similar activities.
The executive council issued a call to Conservative religious youth organizations to prepare for the eleventh annual conference of the youth group to be held in Philadelphia next February.
