A campaign to induce the government publishing house of the Ukrainian Nationality minorities to assign additional funds for the publication of Yiddish text books for use in the Yiddish primary and high schools is in progress under the auspices of the “Stern”.
There is a great shortage of school text books and it is believed this will present a sharp problem when the school term opens next month.
