A suggestion that Jewish war veterans be permitted to display a specially designed insignia before their places of business, along the lines of the Aryan business establishment signs, is put forward by the Berliner Tageblatt, especially in view of the decision of the municipalities not to buy clothes for municipal dependents from Jewish firms. Since the Jewish war veterans are mentioned in many of the discriminatory laws as exempt from the provisions, the paper suggests that they be given these signs officially so that they will not be affected by the laws and will be exempted from the boycott.
