“Ask the Rabbi” is the title of a book of questions and answers in the maner of the “Ask Me Another” series, compiled by Albert K. Weinberg, in collaboration with Rabbi Morris S. Lararon of Bahimore. The book presents in a series of tests two thousand questions and answers on Biblical history and contemporary Jewish aifairs, the role of Jewish notables in the events in Jewish communal life and in the history of the various countries.
The questions cover a wide field of Jewish information and because of the attractive presentation the book is of great value for popularizing knowledge of Jewish history and life both for adults and children.
Harold Riegelman, counsel for the Tenement House Commission, was elected president of the Interfraternity Conference at the concluding session of its nineteenth annual convention at the Hotel Pennsyivania, New York.
Mr. Riegelman is the first Jew to be chosen as presiding officer of the conference, which includes sixty-one national college fraternities with a combined membership of $26,000 . He was graduated from Cornell in 1313 and is a member of Zeta Beta Tan fraternity. Five of the approximately 30 Jewish fraternities in the country have been admitted to membership in the conference during the last five years.
