The fall of the Roumanian Cabinet looms as a probability as a result of the unearthing of the Fascisti plot to assassinate a number of the members of the ministry and other leading Roumanians.

General Viatiano, Minister of the Interior, who has been generally charged with being too lenient to the Fascisti has submitted his resignation. Constantinescu, Minister of Agriculture, has announced that he also stands with Viatiano and his resignation is expected.

Other resignations are expected to follow it and it is believed likely that an entire new cabinet slate will be designated. Premier Bratianor has conferred with the King regarding the incident.

The plot was disclosed as a result of the assassination of M. Resenthal, editor of the “Adverul” who was first on the death list prepared by the Fascisti.
