This year teachers in the schools of the Zionist Organization will not receive the customary notices that their services are no longer required, declared Henrietta Szold, member of the Jerusalem Zionist Executive, at a reception given in her honor by the Teachers’ Union.
Zionist education is still insecure and much work is needed before the system is firmly established, declared Miss Szold. Her statement that teachers will not be laid off this year was hailed by the assembled teachers.
