At a recent meeting of the Town Council it was decided to turn over to a contractor the building of the schools at Neve Shaanan and Kalisher street. The estimated cost of these buildings is 13,000.Pound

A proposal was made by the members of the Town Council to name new streets after Dr. Zamenhof, the inventor of Esperanto, and Mrs. Fellman, who planted the first privately-owned Jewish orange grove in Palestine.

The Town Council also decided to increase the number of one-way streets and establish stations for carriages and taxis.
