At Tuesday’s summit in Egypt, President Bush and Arab leaders discussed the possibility of Egypt and Jordan returning their ambassadors to Israel. “I hope that as we move forward in this process down the ‘road map,’ both Egypt and Jordan will see the merit at an appropriate moment to return their ambassadors,” U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell said Tuesday in the resort of Sharm el-Sheik, where the summit was held.
