Atlanta, Ga., Raises $15,000 Toward United Palestine Appeal Quota of $40,000

The sum of $15,000 toward Atlanta’s quota of $40,000 in the United Palestine Appeal was raised last night at a mass meeting opening the campaign here.

Sir Wyndham Deedes and Mrs. Archibald Silverman were the principal speakers at the meeting. The campaign will last ten days.

Among the larger contributors were Messrs. Paradies and Rich, $500; Hyman Jacobs, Exelento Medicine Company, Stein & Company, $500 each; American Laundry Company, $400; J. Saul, $250; J. Heiman, $250; M. Eisenberg, $250; Harold Hirsch, $250.

The chairman of the campaign is I. J. Paradies. Last year Atlanta raised $10,000 as its quota in the United Palestine Appeal.
