Police were today investigating an attempt by unidentified persons to burn the car of the Soviet Minister to Israel.
An employee of the legation in Tel Aviv last night noticed a fire under the car. He extinguished the blaze and called the police, who found a can filled with oil under the vehicle. One tire was damaged.
