A request to stop the building activities of the electric station in Haifa, which is a part of the Rutenberg electrification scheme, was submitted to the Mayor of Haifa today in a memorandum of the Arab Chamber of Commerce, Arab manufacturers and the Mukhtar.
In their memorandum the Arabs declare that they intend to establish an Arab Electric company.
