Attempted terror attacks in Jerusalem increased by 500 percent last year. There were 50 terror attacks or attempted attacks in 2001, including 25 bombings, 10 car bombs, seven mortar attacks, six suicide bombings and two grenade attacks, according to Jerusalem police.
