Six hundred attorneys honored three newly-elected jurists and entertained about thirty other members of the bench tonight at the “Bench Night” dinner meeting of the Lawyers Club of the Brooklyn Federation of Jewish Charities, at the Unity Club, Bedford Avenue and Dean Street, Brooklyn.
Those honored were Supreme Court Justices Mitchell May, Harry E. Lewis, and Francis G. Hooley, all of whom assumed their posts for new terms on Jan. l.
Meanwhile, 500 young women gathered at the seventh annual fashion show of the Junior Federation of the Brooklyn Federation of Jewish Charities. The fashion show is the principal preliminary affair preceding the charity ball, which will be held Saturday night, February 15, at the Hotel St. George, Brooklyn.
