Sponsors of the Auschwitz death camp documentary exhibition, now showing in West Berlin, today extended the display by a month because the exhibit was attracting a surprisingly large number of visitors. The hall where the exhibit is being shown is regularly filled to overflowing, they said, since it was opened two weeks ago. Instead of ending January 30, the exhibit will stay open until the end of February.
A total of 15, 000 persons, most of them young people, have seen the exhibit of documents of the death camp where between 3, 000, 000 and 4, 000, 000 victims, most of them Jews, were murdered during the war.
