Reiterating the Government’s opposition to block settlement of immigrants, Premier Joseph A. Lyons announced today rejection of a proposal to establish a Jewish colony in the hinterland of New Guinea. (Australia has approved entry of 15,000 German Jewish refugees in three years.)
