Nahal Ketura, a settlement north of Eilat sponsored by Australian Jewry, was dedicated Thursday. Prime Minister Rupert James Hamer of Victoria State participated in the ceremonies. The Australian leader and 44 Jewish donors from Australia are touring various development projects undertaken by the Jewish National Fund, Nanai Ketura, a para-military settlement on 3600 dunams (900 acres) of JNF land, will eventually pass into civilian hands.
