Australia’s Prime Minister, J. G. Gorton, will attend the Sydney Jewish community’s celebration of the 20th anniversary of Israel’s independence at Town Hall here on April 28, it was announced today. He will be accompanied by W. J. Aston, Speaker of Parliament. The occasion will be the first public function attended by Prime Minister Gorton since his election. He said he was ‘looking forward with a great deal of pleasure and anticipation to meeting the Jewish community of New South Wales.”
