Final touches to an agreement by which West Germany will contribute to an Austrian fund for payment of compensation for victims of the Nazi period in Austria will be worked out at a meeting of Austrian and West German officials in Vienna next month, it was reported here today.
The meeting, reportedly set for April 7, will be attended by Henrich von Brentano, West German Foreign Minister, Franz Etzel, West German Finance Minister, Bruno Kreisky, Austrian Foreign Minister, and Austrian Finance Minister Heilingsetzer.
The agreement provides for a West German contribution to a fund to be set up by Austria for payments to political and racial victims of the Nazi period. The Austrian Ministers and their West German colleagues will fix the amounts of the payments and the West German contribution.
