Austria Settles Large Number of Applications for Relief by Nazi Victims

Nearly 77 percent of the applications for relief funds for Austrian political persecutees now living abroad have already been processed and settled, the Austrian relief fund office announced here today.

More than 23,000 applications have been dealt with and another 7,000 are in the works and moving toward a final settlement, the announcement said.
