The first steps for the restoration of Jewish and anti-fascist property expropriated by the Nazis will be taken here tomorrow when the Austrian law on the return of “aryanized” property becomes effective.
The present law, which deals with only one part of the extremely complicated question, is expected to lead to the return of about 4,000 properties to pre-Nazi owners.
