The Austrian Parliament unanimously adopted today the draft for a 12th amendment to the Nazi victims compensation law under which compensation will be provided for victims of the Nazi regime in Austria who have received no funds of this kind since the end of World War II.
The Parliament also adopted without dissent the financial pact between Austria and West Germany, under which the West German Government is contributing about half of the compensation fund from which the Austrian Government will make the payments to aged and needy Nazi victims.
