A trainload of 880 Jewish deportees was liberated by Austrian partisans who attacked it between Budapest and Vienna overpowering the German guards, according to a report in the Stockholm newspaper “Expressen” relayed to the Office of War Information here. The deportees were on their way to hard labor in Austrian Nazi camps.
