The support of Prime Minister Scipel and of Cardinal Piffel has been pledged to Rector Doeller, in his attempt to irradicate anti-Semitism from the University.

Rector Doeller in restoring order on the campus, insisted that Professor Kappelmacher, who was recently put to flight by anti-Semitic rowdies, resume his lectures.

The retiring Rector Diener, declared, while he was taking leave, that the “numerus clausus” was essential, and expressed the conviction that eventually it will be enforced.
