Austrian Science Minister Hertha Fuernberg said Sunday it was the duty of everybody to do his utmost to prevent a repetition of the Nazi-Holocaust. In a ceremony marking the 31st anniversary of the liberation of the Mauthausen concentration camp by U.S. troops in World War II. the Minister said the concentration camp was a “symbol of inhumanism and the passion of Austria.” Some 4000 persons, many of them former inmates of the camp, attended the memorial service. Fuernberg declared: “It is the duty of the old generation to influence the young to prevent a repetition of the Nazi Holocaust.”
