Austria’s Parliament unanimously approved a $415 million fund to compensate Holocaust-era slave and forced laborers. As a result of the vote, there will be one-time payments of as much as $7,250 for slave laborers and $2,400 to forced laborers. Officials said they hope the first payments can be made before the end of the year.
