The anti-Semitic outbreak at Zywiec, near Krakau, last week, has had a sequel in the shape of a number of arrests here of leading Endeks and others opposed to the Pilsudski regime. An unconfirmed report is to the effect that large quantities of arms and ammunition, as well as anti-Semitic literature was discovered by the police in the course of the arrests.
The police described the whole affair as an attempt to use anti-Semitic propaganda as a means of creating disorder and a general state of unrest in which the opposition planned to overthrow the Government.
