Authorize New B’nai B’rith Old Age Home

The erecttion of a new building for the B’nai B’rith Home for Aged and Infirm was authorized by the General Committee of District Number 1 of the Independent Order B’nai B’rith at a meeting of the Committee held here. Manrice Bloch, minority leader of the New York State Assembly who is president of the District presided.

The proposed new home for the Aged is to provide facilities for the former inmates of the Home in Yonkers. New York. which was recently disposed of by the B’nai B’rith.

A preliminary program for the district convention of the LO.B.B. which is to take place in Buffalo on May 12th and 13th, was prepared. Representatives from New England. New York and Eastern Canada attended the meeting.
