A debate on the subject of the extended Jewish Agency was held Saturday night at the auditorium of the Society for the Advancement of Judaism in New York, under the auspices of the Avukah, the American Student Zionist Federation. Maurice Samuel spoke on the affirmative of the proposition, “Resolved: that the steps taken to form the Jewish Agency are in the best interests of Palestine and the Jewish people;” Jacob DeHaas took the negative.
