The body of Bernard A. Ettlinger, president of the South African Jewish Board of Deputies, who died here Thursday at the age of 60, was flown to Johannesburg for burial this weekend. Mr. Ettlinger, a prominent South African attorney, had come here with Mrs. Ettlinger for a brief holiday. He had been a member of the bar for 24 years and had served as acting justice of the South African Supreme Court in 1946-47.
