The Jewish Anti-Fascist Committee here arranged a banquet in favor of B.Z. Goldberg, chairman of the American Committee of Jewish Writers and Artists, who is now visiting the Soviet Union. Mr. Goldberg was received last week by President Michael Kalinin.
Several hundred Jewish officers of the Red Army and all leading Jewish writers in Moscow attended the affair which was addressed by Prof. Solomon Mikhoels and Itzik Heffer, leaders of the Jewish Anti-Fascist Committee. Other speakers included Major general M. Katz, Prof. I. Dobrushin, David Bergelson and others.
