Rabbi William F. Rosenblum, president of the Syn##gogue Council of America, today reported at a press conference on the results of the precent Emergency Conference on Anti-Semitism, held in Seelisburg, Switzerland, which the attended as a delegate of the Council and of the Anti-Defamation League of B’nai B’rith.
Rabbi Rosenblum said that the program adopted by the lay and clergy delegates who represented most European countries, consisted of three major points: 1. To ##urge church bodies to cease teaching that Jews were responsible for the crucifixion of Christ; 2. To ascertain that “nothing in Christianity should be used as a basis for religious hatred, since “Jesus was the son of a Jewish mother who was the seed of David;” 3. To declare that persons practicing anti-Semitism should not be consider ## Christians.
