An effort to inaugurate a Jewish land settlement movement in Germany is the outcome of a conference of the Federation of Jewish Ex-Service Men held here. A fund is planned for the purpose of purchasing an estate where the work will be started. A plan worked out by the agricultural experts of how to settle Jewish farmers and gardeners in the Rhineland was submitted at the conference.

Professor Franz Oppenheimer and the German agriculturists Mosse, Stangenhagen and Sandelowsky, have joined the movement which is to be conducted under the slogan. “Back to the soil.”
