Bail for James Madole, the leader of the National Renaissance party, who was among the eight alleged neo-Nazis arrested Sunday in connection with anti-racist picketing of a Bronx diner, was raised to $7,500 today, while the others were held in $5,000 bail.
Three of the suspected Nazis have already posted bail. They are: Paul Joachim and John Corrigan, who were arrested Sunday morning when police found an arsenal of guns and ammunition in a truck they were driving, and Peter Kraus, in whose home police said they found arms, ammunition and anti-Semitic literature.
The alleged Nazis will appear in court here July 23, when they will face charges of possession of deadly weapons, incitement to riot and “anarchy.”
