Baltimore Philanthropist Leaves $10.000 to Yeshiva

A contribution of $10.000 toward the Maintenance Fund of the Rabbi Esate Elehaman Theological Seminary was forwarded to the Yeshiva by the administraters of the Estate of the late ### Levy of Baltimore, Nathan Lamport President of the Board of Directors of the Yeshiva, announced yesterday.

According to the will the interest on the $10,000 fund is to provide for the maintenance expenses of the insituation. The fund is to be known as the Julius and Etta G. Levy Fund.

Julius Levy, who was a member of the firm of M. Levy S. Sons, straw has manufactureres in Baltimore, died in 1926. Mr. Levy, who was a prominent Jewish leader of Baltimore and known for his many philanthropies bequentred, in addition to the $10,000 for the Yeshiva, the amount of $50,000 for John Hopkins, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and several other educational institutions.
